LOL i hate when they fall out and you find them randomly. i was testing in church the other day and all the sudden saw a used freestyle strip right in front of me on the floor. i thought, not kidding, "come on people, take care of your used strips, gross". then i realized it HAD to have fallen out of my collection. Opps.
I found one in my shower the other day. THE SHOWER. How does that even happen? Hahaha.
John, you are not the only one that is shy about testing in public, So when I do I make sure that I thow away the used test stripes. I have let it go for a while one time. Than when my mom gets my checker, she will yeall at me for not thowing my test strips away after I check myself.
I used to do this. Then I realized that I can fit an extra test strip vial in my case. Now, I use the old vial to hold used test strips. I mark the old one just in case, though it's easy to tell because it's the one with dried blood in it. When I change to a new vial, I just throw the one with used strips away.
The only difference between yours and mine (I have the same meter) is that I have a wadded up kleenex with blood drops also stuffed in there. I reuse the kleenex to avoid wiping my finger on my pants. I did it with white jeans once and regretted it.

Lol I'm so glad someone posted about this, this is so funny!! I do the same thing, but I put them in the pocket behind the netted zipper area. I also keep an empty strip bottle in there that's supposed to act as my "portable trash can" but I always end up leaving them in the case regardless. I'm finally forced to empty it when they start falling out everywhere I go!
