Where's the weirdest place you find blood around your house? I find little spots of blood everywhere from finger sticks. Yuck!
Today, I was returning a library book on and found a spot on the back. Oops!

hmm... i dont think ive found anywhere other then my testers case that i wipe the extra blood i sqeeze out when testing.
I don't find blood so much as test strips... everywhere!! My family claims they could clone me off the DNA samples lol!
But I hate when blood squirts everywhere - it's gone all over my pillow and me before. Eyuck :)
i find test strips everywhere too!
eww! i do that all the time too lol...anyways i find blood on my homework all the time so when i pass it up to the front my friends will turn around and be like EWW! its kinda funny though but not when a teacher tells you you have to redo your homework and the blood is unacceptable....whatever lol
Okay I'll admit it...the refrigerator door! Sometimes after I eat/drink for a low I have to give the refrigerator a good wipe down. Oh, and I find test strips everywhere. It is annoying when they get stuck between the grooves of my shoes, I have to get a tooth pick and pick them out :)
LOL i woke up this morning and there was blood spots on my pj pants... last night my finger WOULD NOT STOP BLEEDING and i thought i got it to stop... but apparently not!
I have recently stumbled upon a hidden stash of used test strips in my room. Apparently some mornings I am not awake enough to place the test strip in the garbage can fully. So the strips decided to have a party behind my dresser and not even invite me.
I usually find blood on myself. The other day I tested on my right hand and an hour later I was doing something an found dried blood on the bottom of my left hand and also dried to the finger next to the one I tested. I am a licker so normally I am fine, but every once in a while the blood eludes me. The worst part is I will stare at the blood stain and try to figure out how I cut myself before I remember the cause.
It is on my bed spread, carpet, even clothes sometimes. I also find test strips everywhere. My parents say that I need to be careful because someone could steal my DNA or something. lol. One time I got it everywhere. I just squeezed my pinky where I had pricked it and nothing came out so I squeezed it harder and blood shot in a line like 2 feet in the air. It got all on my face and clothes and the couch. When I said everywhere I litterally meant everywhere. lol. It was gross. Oh and Courtenay I wipe my excess blood on the meter case too.

Eww! I hate those explosions, too! It's only happened to me a couple of times, but it was impossible to find all the little spots that come flying out onto your shirt!
I know!!!! It's like impossible. They say nothing is impossible but that is. Like one time I just flicked my finger and then it did the same thing. It went everywhere too. lol.
haha im a counsler at a day camp for diabetics between the ages of four to nine, so the other day i was checking one little four year olds blood sugar and I squeezed a little too hard and blood shot out across the blacktop and the little kid went "WOAH!!!". He thought it was the funniest thing ever but I felt so bad!
Haha! Of course a little or younger kid would think that was cool. I thought it was when it first happened to me. I was like wow I have spidee senses! lol.
My sheets pillows and sleeves are the usual places I find specked with blood... I am sure everyone here knows this, but perhaps some newbies might not. The best way to get a blood stain out instantly is with Hydrogen Peroxide. Pour a bit of Peroxide on the stain and scrub a little and it should come out pretty instantly!
Yes, everywhere. It's amazing. EVERYWHERE!

Kate, thank you! I didn't know that. I've never needed to know that. But I'm sure I will.

I usually suck the blood off after I test. Freaks people out. But the keyboard is where I see it the most often.
The car is littered with strips.
When I'm out of the house, running *cold* water on the blood stain in the bathroom works for me ... it at least fades it enough that it comes off in the wash after. Is that what other people do?

I do this too, but usually I don't find blood on my clothes...though at camp this summer I got lots of various stains. I'm a licker but sometimes I'll find blood spots on my hands and school papers.
Oh, I hate when I get blood on papers especially when I have to hand them in! Or when I got blood all over my ADA slip at camp... haha!
