My daughter was diagnosed last year and I feel she really needs to connect with other T1D kids. She is the only diabetic in her school and doesn’t know any other kids with T1. She’s been a trooper since diagnosis but she did ask the other day why she’s the only kid she knows that has T1D. She’s 6 years old turning 7 in July. We live in Miami at the moment.
If anyone would like to connect, would love to make that happen for our kids!

You could see if her endo’s office could connect you with other families. Although HIPAA probably wouldn’t allow them to give you their numbers, I dint see why they could not share yours if you’re willing.
