Hello, My name is Rita and I am 15 years old and really don’t have anyone I can relate to that’s close to me. I live in Kansas and there really isn’t a lot of opportunities to meet new T1Ds.

The closest JDRF Chapter is Kansas City (3 hours away) JDRF Chapter Links but maybe you could travel there during a fundraiser event and meet others. There just aren’t that many of us out there - that’s why the support forum works, there is close to 25 thousand registered users here either with T1 or caring for someone with T1.
