You are not alone - many other people here and around the world are going through just what you are now experiencing and trying to learn. You may be able to find “neighbors” who are living with diabetes or caring for someone with T1D. Try contacting a JDRF Chapter near you and attending one of their events. There are two Tennessee JDRF Chapters and two others nearby. You can find a Chapter by clicking the “Events” Tab at the top of this page, then select “JDRF Near You” and enter your zip code.
