i heard that joke a long time ago. i made friends with laffy taffy wrappers at a young age. nice try, bp :D
I have used that joke long before Laffy Taffy used it. In fact I think they stole it from me.
What do you call a cow with no longs???

And I am done with this threadjacking. My bad.

i believe you mean "legs" and i've heard that one too. what do you call a cow with 3 legs? lean beef.
This is why I should never type when I talk. Yes I meant legs. What do you call a guy floating in the ocean with no legs or arms?? BOB
See I did it again. Thanks a bunch C.
any kind of art and design stuff, painting, looking at art and photography, playing volleyball and other sports im not that great at, traveling, reading... shopping shopping shopping.. beach beach beach .. i know these arent hobbies but whatever, i can spend massive amounts of time on them
Oh, to live by a beach... :( I run, or try to. I love art and design... I very much enjoy decorating houses. I was once told that my home "looks like Pottery Barn threw up in it.... in a good way". Um, too bad all of my furniture was from Walmart... ha! Hmm, what else. Somehow I've turned all domestic lately, with baking and cooking. I totally adore puns and corny jokes. I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, but I haven't practiced it since high school. But, man, once upon a time, I was a bad***!
i also have 2 very weird talents... i can play the drums with my feet, and i can play guitar hero WELL with my face
Sunny, my very 1st pot person Jaina (she's a mini pot person)
Mollie and Lila in their wagon Blaze (he will have orange hair once he is completed)
I make people (most are toddler sized, 4inch and 2 1/2 inch pots) out of terra cotta pots. The small ones are 2 inch and 1 inch pots, which make them "mini pot people". They are primed, spray painted and assembled. My Dad makes each of them their furniture by hand. You can see their pictures better if you check out my home page.
It amazes me, reading how talented everyone is and how diverse your hobbies are. Very cool, people!
I am a pretty modest person, by nature, so this is kind of hard for me to do. I have a few talents that people tell me are interesting: 1) I do a lot of vocal impressions (cartoons, TV characters, movie actors, etc.) 2) Improvisational comedy is second nature to me. I perform regularly and love it because it's different every show. 3) I have a knack for making people smile, even when I don't feel so great. I just think it's important to brighten someone else's day, as often as possible 4) 80s music trivia and Christmas Cartoon trivia. I love it. 5) I can wiggle my ears. 6) Public speaking. I do not get nervous when I do it. In fact, I get more and more into it when I become more interactive with my audiences.
Now, if I could have a talent for shedding some weight, that would be awesome.

hehe...Nice! we're such talented people! :)

I can not do the public speaking thing, it makes me a nervous wreck !! : )
I completed my orange pot person (his unfinished picture is in my prior post) his name is "Blaze".

orange: those are pretty awesome :) do you sell them??
i am into photography(link in siggie).
I play Tuba! I play it because i'm awesome like that!
I like to sew -- I make quilts mostly. My new thing is to make t-shirt quilts, like the one in my avatar which I made using some of my JDRF Walk t-shirts. In a past life, I was a musician. I played piccolo in my college marching band, and flute in concert band, at church and at special events (weddings for example). I don't play my flute much anymore, sadly, now that I am in the "real world."
It's great seeing everyone's talents on this site. It's quite a great group of people!
I love to scrapbook and cross stitch!

I love to scrapbook and cross stitch!
[/quote]I used to cross stitch too until I got a kitten who thought the threads were a new toy!!
when you were a kid, did anyone else use the embroidery thread for friendship bracelets?
i'm pretty sure if i checked out my closet at my parents' house i would still find a little basket full of embroidery thread and safety pins. i used to make those things by the millions :o)
I learnt how to cross-stitch as part of sewing class in grade 8. I was apparently a "natural" at it. I did it for a year or so when I was sick(as in had to stay home for days), and started a new one just last year that I worked on over a few months..but ended up tossing it out before it was done when I moved. It was a pretty complicated one and I hadn't done it in years..plus I didn't have one of those holders, which made it harder. i hope to do it again soon!
