I lived in Massachusetts for 59 years before moving to Florida in 2000 and had wonderful care at the Joslin Diabetes Clinic/Center in Boston. You can meet people, like you affected by TypeOne, through the JDRF Chapters - there is a Chapter in Wellesley; you can find JDRF Chapters by selecting the “Events” tab at the top of the page and choosing “JDRF Near You”.
Also, this coming week there is a free TypeOneNation Summit in the Boston area, a link is posted below. These Summits are awesome, wonderful non-threatening events where you could meet people of all ages, and their families, affected by diabetes - I urge you to attend, if at all possible.
