I am nowhere near your daughters age and was diagnosed with T1D at the age of seven. My parents found a summer camp for children with diabetes from the JDRF, have you tried looking for a camp near your area?
thank you but money is tight right now cant afford any camps not in my budget. I did look into them thou thanks for ur post
I understand about money being tight. If you have not already, you can visit the JDRF website, search for a chapter near you and what events that may be coming up near you. You could meet other parents and she could meet other children with T1D. Best wishes to you both.
