I was wondering if anyone knows of meetings where kids can make new frinds that are diabetic, too. I would like to take my son and have him meet more kids with it. Play groups or something like that? Or maybe what kind of things you have been to and your thoughts on this.
Where do you live? Go to jdrf.org and find a support group local to you. I just started one through JDRF in the Delmarva (Delaware/Maryland) area. And if you don't have a local chapter, you can start one yourself. You'd be so surprised how many kids come out when you look for them.
