Gall bladder removal at age 14???  That's not too common.  Obviously it's not due to bad diet, but probably another disease condition.

I have some of the symptoms of gall bladder disease, but I don't have right upper abdominal pain so they ruled it out.  So, I'm a little bit in your same boat, but not entirely.

Good luck.  I hope whatever happens you start feeling better.  :)

My daughter, not a diabetic, just had her gallbladder removed two days ago.  She is 14.  Her sister had hers removed at 17, but only because for years the doctors couldn't believe a young person would need it removed.  All of their bloodwork and other tests came back normal, except for the tail end of a nuclear scan.  We rarely eat meat, but my older daughter has high cholesterol.  My father's cholesterol was over 400, but they didn't have medication back then and he was very healthy.  He died from prostate cancer and his heart was perfect.

Their only symptom, by the way, was extreme abdominal pain.
