Hi, I’m Luci. I was diagnosed when i was ten, that was 8 years ago. I’m 18 now and i have no diabetic friends. I had hydronephrosis (a type of kidney failure) when i was 6 weeks old and 8 years old. I just want to talk to someone who understands what im going through.

Hey Luci. I joined type one nation because I needed to be around people who experience what I do. I have barely talked to other people with T1D but it is something that I have always wanted to do. My family is really supportive but it would be nice to listen and speak with other diabetics.

It’s so cool to hear from other diabetics. My dad and uncle both have type 1 but it’s kinda hard to talk to them about it.
