i like using the back of my leg. its painless and i dont hit muscles or nerves or blood vessels there.
I like using the top part of my butt closer to my hip. Never hurts there but, it is totally overused I had to start moving up. I don't mind using my legs but, the sites always get pulled out when I pull up my pants.
I've only tryed using my stomache. It works best for me there. It's pretty much the only place I can put it because it's the only place where I have enough fat that it won't hurt.
Since my arms are totally over used, I'd say the top of my thighs.
My brother uses his stomach, its really the only place he can put it because hes so skinny.
My sister will put the site in one of her butt cheeks. I think I posted this in the Pumps section somewhere, but I was curious if there were any options for us sweaty, fuzzy folk other than our hairless parts of our stomachs (i.e. oblique areas). I can't do legs because they're all muscle and that will just be uncomfortable and I definitely can't do arms as someone previously stated for the same muscular reasons...
i like my stomach, its easier, but i am getting some lumps so i have to move to the top of my thighs, which is painless :)
Oooh, I've never tried using the back of my leg! I think I'll give it a go! I had always been a stomach user, but recently I've started moving my sites further and further around my lower back and I LOVE it! (It anyone had suggested it to me a few months ago, though, I would have thought they were crazy!!)
I always use my abdomen around my hip bone area. It is the only place I can pinch enough chub to use. I tried my leg once. I hit a vein and fainted. Not trying that again.
I tend to use the love handle area of my body and I will venture into the stomach area as well. Pat, I will tell you this, no one else should be reading this, as it is top secret information. If I go for my stomach in my rotation being a fuzzier person I usually have to take a razor and clean the area up a little to fit the infusion site in. You may just have to get yourself used to the idea of sometimes trimming.
ouch! i've never hit a vein, but i have hit muscles in my arm and leg. i was in tears because it hurt so bad!!
my belly i overuse. i have bruises from three moinths ago still and scars everywhere. i have to use an area near my hip bone if i do use my belly abdomen area. i cant use my but. my sites always go bad within the first 24 hours after i insert it.
I'm definitely a butt man. No one can see it, it doesn't hurt, and scars wont ruin your day at the beach.

I gotta agree with Bryan. Sometimes shaving is your best option whether it's stomach, legs, butt, whatever. I used to shave my upper thighs for sites. And if you haven't tried the butt cheeks you'll be surprised at how comfortable it is (haha this is incredibly awkward out of context). I'm pretty lean and I've hit muscle in the legs, but I've never had problems with the butt. If you're having problems with sites coming out due to sweating try using a spray antiperspirant on the area before putting in the site.
Must be nice to be so muscular haha.
I only use my stomach! whenever i put it in myy it always seems to come out! ive thought about my leg n juss always chicken out when it comes time do change it. ive also thought about my arm but scared it will get caught or something like that...
I usually use my stomach, and sometimes the upper-side of my butt. I've tried using my thigh before, but it seemed really uncomfortable to me. I'm not sure why. Although when I had my training for my new pump today, the educator suggested using angled sets for my thigh, so I might try that.
I don't like the idea of using my arm. It just seems like it would be inconvenient, especially when you reach out your arm and stuff.
I like just changed my pump and I put my infusion site on my stomache the normal spot and I hit a vein. It hurt so bad! Like blood went rushing into the cannula so I had to change it again. It still hurts.
