Anyone out there have a support group that has been successful in getting parent participation? If so, what sort of events have you held? I am working on coordinating a support group by offering a once a month meet up. I've been inspired by another Mom that is also a JDRF volunteer for our neighboring county. She's held a laser tag event that was sponsored by Omnipod and Olive Garden provided free food. I think I might actually be able to get Medtronic to sponsor and I plan on talking more with the JDRF mom but thought I would try to get ideas from here as well.
