apparently there is a cure of diabetes according to this book. just read the book and somehow you will learn stimulate the production of insulin in your body.
it makes me angry when people write these miracle cure things. grrr

That guy seems a little wacky.. plus he is probably referring to type 2 diabetes, which I guess is "technically" reversible if you lose weight and watch your diet
This irritates me too. I didn't read the whole thing but I noticed it said that Type 2 eventually leads to Type 1. What? I don't remember ever having Type 2? These kind of snake oil salesman will be with us always. The unfortunate part is people hoping for a cure will actually send them money.

Common misconception. Just like type 1 can't be cured, neither can type 2. Type 2 can be well controlled through diet and exercise, but once you are diagnosed with it, it's not going anywhere.
I agree, it is upsetting. But on the upside if we all just "eat better" and get some fairy dust, apparently we'll be cured. (read with sarcasm please)
Ooooh.. I guess there's the lucky few then.. my mother included. She no longer has to take pills (but still watches her diet of course) after she lost weight and got her BG back under control. Wish it was that simple for me!
Lindsay, from what I understand Type 2 is not reversible. She will have to be careful the rest of her life or high blood glucose will climb again. T'aint that easy!

Did you read through the testimonials at the bottom? 50% of them were Type 2 diabetics praising him! and the other 50% were just people changing their ways of eating and their health improved. ATTENTION TO 50% of people who read this and changed their ways, YOU ARE AN IDIOT! if they changed their eating habits DUH you're gonna feel better, and DUH you're gonna be healthier!

Okay well the point of my comment was I doubt the author was referring to Type 1 diabetes. Guess I should have just left it at that haha
I don't know why you guys are so upset. This seems like that miracle cure we all have been praying for. "In our control studies we've done, 83% of those who were Type 1 diabetics were able to eliminate their insulin injections completely." I have purchased the book and it is on its way to me. I figured that I needed to prepare my body for this book so I went off insulin yesterday just so I know I would be extra prepared. Who knew that a cure would be available through a book? Conventional doctors have been looking for a cure through surgery and pills, but a cure was sitting right in front of us at the local library!
P.S. I know that sarcasm is hard to read on an internet post, so I am going to make this explicit: I am being sarcastic.
