Yesterday, 11/24/2009 My Dad pasted away. We knew it was coming, still didn't make any easier. The real bummer is, I am helping my parents and was the one to find him first. That was no fun at all!!!!!
The family, because of this is coming together for Thanksgiving. That's the good part and he is with my brother now both breathing good!!! My Dad had COPD and brother went from lung cancer.
Everybody have a Happy Thanksgiving from the USA. LOL
Hi Keith, No matter how many years we have had our parents or even knowing they are going to pass--keeps the pain or sadness away from losing them.My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family today.
Our most sincerest of sympathies to you and your family!!! Cherish the good times, and the memories. No one can take that away from you. Your in our thoughts and prayers.
Sorry to here this Keith221. My father died under similar circumstances in 1995 from cancer. It is hard, but at least now he's not suffering anymore. Don't know about your Dad, but mine was ready. While we were very sorry to see him go in a way it was good. I still miss the guy tremendously and think of him every day. I recognize parts of him in me often and it brings a smile to may face.
Hold the family close. You need each other now. I wish you the best.
I am sorry for your loss. It is a hard thing to go through even if you are expecting it. My father passed away 6 1/2 years ago from cirrosis of the liver. He also had diabetes. I feel my dads presence alot esp since I was diagnosed with diabetes. Hang in there it will feel ok soon.
So sorry I couldn't post my condolences sooner. My friend's 2 year old son reprogrammed my keyboard so the letters were all messed up and I couldn't type. You and your family are in Hannah's and my prayers, and will continue to be for a long time, as I lost a very close uncle 3 years ago on Thanksgiving Day, and remember how hard the holiday season was that first year.
