Some Canada in the house!
I am 54, t1 since 36. Almost 20 years.
Diabetes has brought me dry feet, high blood pressure, DME, ED, two heart attacks (both quite minor), 4 stents in my chest, and a very nasty education on ketoacidosis (7 days in ICU)
Years of injections (positive and negative), loads of meds (down to two now)
I am likely Mr average, control is not good, but not bad either. Coping is about the same. Diet is good for a time, then not.
I have a great job, that will hopefully keep me sane. And a wife that loves me crazy.
