Joining a challenge group is a great way to get nutritional tips, fitness advice, motivation, and support! Working out and eating healthy plays a very important role in managing diabetes. I was diagnosed with type one diabetes about 4 years ago. My A1C was a 9.7 at the time. With regular exercise and eating healthy I have managed to keep my A1C a 6.5 and under for the past two years!
