Does anyone know if there are plans in the works to have a Dexcom display on a smart phone? My daughter never remembers to carry the receiver.
She hates having to carry it but she won't go anywhere without her phone.
That would be super convenient, you could keep it beside your bed too.
It's been tested, in a research setting. For obvious reasons all the phone functions were disabled to prevent them from interfering with the CGM calculations, warnings and Insulin pump insulin delivery. . . But it shows that it is possible and will probably become common in the future. Depends on the research funding and results.
