I’m wondering if there are any other T1D out there who develop chronic hives over the late fall/winter? I’ve developed it for the past three years with no reason and only over this time span. Any help/support is greatly appreciated!

@Tee25 hi Taylor, not hives… necessarily, but I have an issue with dry skin. Some people who have thyroid issues also find that patches of dry skin are more pronounced in the colder months. A dermatologist may offer some good suggestions here. I just use moisturizer from September until May.
also, some allergic reactions are based on autoimmune response, which is similar to diabetes which is an autoimmune response. If you find you have exceptional allergies, a trip to a specialist may be a good idea. good luck I hope you’re OK.
