Giving 1/2 units on a pen that only has single units

My daughter has become very sensitive to insulin. We started giving her 1 unit per 20 grams and are now at 1 per 60. I think that this allows her to get a little too high so I give her less than a unit by priming out 3 drops of insulin from the one unit first. I will see how it goes. One whole unit is often too much and she will get low.

Some of the companies make pen needles for "kids" (or anyone sensitive to small doses) with half units. I know humalog is one, but don't remember the others. You should ask her endo! If shes so sensitive, it would be good to be more exact, I'd think.
