My G6 Transmitter has past the 3 months expiration period. I’m about to change my sensor. Should I change my transmitter too or just let it ride.

Look into the transmitter status and check the battery condition. About three weeks before my transmitter would expire, I had been in for about 80 days, I got a message on my pump that the transmitter would cease working in 23 days.
