I a only 11 weeks along, so I have not yet discussed the issue with my OB, but it is definitely something that has been on my mind. To members who have had planned c sections in the past, I have 3 questions: (1) how far along were you when the C section was performed? (2) How was the experience? (3) What was the recovery and the scarring like?
I really like the idea of a planned C section because then I know exactly when my baby will be here, but going through surgery scares me! I’m wondering how I’ll be able to take care of my new baby while recovering.
