So I am freaking out over my blood sugar the last couple days my sugars are usually under control, my A1C is a 6.5, but I’ve been having problems with my fasting blood sugar spiking to almost 300. I am 5 weeks pregnant and I just wanted to know if anyone else has had the same issue. I’m so scared that my blood sugars getting that high will hurt the baby this early in my pregnancy. (I do have weekly appointments with my endocrinologist and I will definitely be bringing this to her attention first thing Monday morning, but for now I’d just really like to know if this is a normal occurrence for pregnant type 1’s.)
