Whats your basal rate?

Hi everyone!

I just went to visit my endo today, and thanks to my new CGM, we were able to really get my basal up to what it should be. We changed my afternoon/evening amount, so hopefully it will keep my numbers down after lunch!

My new numbers are:

     Midnight - 4 a.m.: 0.6 u/hr

     4 a.m. - noon: 0.7 u/hr

     Noon - Midnight: 0.8 u/hr

Overall, it is 17.6 units a day on basal. I am using 40-60 (depending on the day) units of insulin total daily.

By the way - I absolutely love my CGM (and so does my endocrinologist). Using the readings, we were able to really see when we running high and low and adjust accordingly - particularly with my basal rates. Hopefully I will have even better control by the next time I visit!

0.6 all day long...I just changed it about 10 minutes ago.  I used to have a 0.4 mixed in there, but it was leaving me with morning highs consistently.

Midnight to 7am: 0.600

7am to midnight: 0.700

my newer basal rates are:

12am-10:30am is 2.1 units

10:30am-4pm is 1.9 units. i go low around gym time.

4pm-12am it goes back up to 2.1 units.

the latest:

12 am - 5 am = 0.55
 5 am - 11 am = 1.2
11 am - 3 pm = 0.45
3pm - 12 am= 0.55

here are mine

12Am - .70
  9Am - .50
  2Pm - 1.00
  7Pm - .75
