I'm doing a project for health and was wondering what some of the common thoughts about diabetes were?

diabetes is SUPER annoying, but lots of people live with it, and I have to too

Any facts and or misconception about diabetes that you know of. Or even personal opinions

It's annoying when people confuse the different types and assume that because I'm an adult I have Type 2 diabetes. Where do they think all the people who were diagnosed with Type 1 as kids go when they grow up??? Also a misconception that only kids get diagnosed with Type 1, I was 20 years old and a junior in college when I was diagnosed.

I hate it when I tell someone I'm low and need to eat and they say just do some insulin, ugh.
