What did you name your insulin pump?

When Brandan eventually gets his pump I'm gonna try calling it Jarvis, that's the name of Tony Stark/Iron Man's computer program. Jarvis is always "connected" to Iron Man and helping him out. He's Brandan's favorite super hero. :)

Jarvis sounds cool. and thats cute, how you thought about it, with jarvis always being "attached" ta iron man. thats pretty cool. and good luck with getting tha pump. i find it a lot easier, the only issue i hcve with it is when i switch from one sports season ta tha next i usually have ta change ma basil, and all that jazz. ba it helped me quite a bit. i hope you and your son find it helpfull too :)

Thanks Jessarae. Yeah, the pump is gonna be great because Brandan needs the smaller, more accurate insulin doses. He'll be 4 in June so we're gonna sign him up for soccer this year. :)

oh so he is young..i was diagnosed when i was 3 its been 13 years this month. soccor is a good sport i miss it. tha one sport that was always screwing with ma numbers is swimming, and thats ma life, i love swimming. i was always having ta quickly eat something, or bolus quick between relays, lol. i hope that his diabetes is na being too bad ;) lol. i wish you, your son, and your family tha best of luck.

always,

jessarae

i knew i forgot someone, lol..and shawntae(4..she was born on ma b-day :) )

i call mine "Pumpie". not very original but i like it.

My daughter has named her pump Irene, and her CGM tranceiver Bob..  Bob and Irene, they are one perfect couple.

Theodore Frederick Best (Teddy for short)

Named after my favourite chipmunk
And the two discoverers of insulin. Sir Frederick Banting and Charles Best. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I have a red omnipod and I need a name!!! Help!!

Pumps 1-6 (I was rough on pumps as a teen) were all Deltec Cozmos. They were all named “Bob”, because my dad the tech geek programed the name “Bob” on to the first one, and I couldn’t figure out how to get it off. :stuck_out_tongue: So the name stuck for all my Cozmo pumps!

Then I had an Animas OneTouch Ping. The meter was named Calvin and the pump was Hobbes.

Now I have a Medtronic 670g with the guardian sensor and meter. They are named: Charmander (meter), Squirtle (pump) and Bulbasaur (CGM transmitter)!

What about Clifford or Cliffy since it’s red?
