Wedding Day/ Marriage Life

As far as insurance goes, I would research as much as I could.  It is WAY too expensive to try to get supplies without being covered.  Just keep in mind that test strips alone are $1 a strip.  You are right in that once you get a job, you are good for either you or your husband.   They cannot deny you coverage and you will be covered no questions asked because you will be signing up during the open enrollment time period.  Pre-existing conditions and prior insurance do not matter as long as you sign up during open enrollment.  This is when the insurance company looks the other way basically.  As far as the wedding goes ... I was on a pump and wore it when I went to try on all the different dresses.  The dress I chose did not have a place for the pump and I didn't think to add a pocket because I honestly don't know how I would have gotten to it!  Anyway, I went off the pump and on shots for my wedding.  I only had one low and it wasn't due to lack of eating or anything.  I caught it and all of my bridesmaids, husband, groomsmen, etc. ran to get me food so I didn't embarrass myself on the big day.  Just make sure you check before you go out to the ceremony and that someone is in CHARGE of keeping up with your meter so you will always know who to go to if you need to check.  Hope this helps.  Good Luck!
