Type 1 Diabetes and Insomnia

Haha, stress for sure.  Being a T1 is seriously stressful which many people cannot appreciate the constant thought that plaques our minds.

Many times, when I am running low and not feeling it I have trouble falling asleep.  I get up and check and take n amount of glucose to normalize my sugars and I usually am able to fall asleep of at least sleep a little more soundly with the piece of mind that I am not gunna go low over night....

I have always had problems falling asleep. I usually take a long time to fall asleep, even if I'm really tired. I also wake up pretty frequently during the night. This last school year I probably got 6 hours of sleep (at the most) every night because of so much homework and writing articles and stuff. I'm sure this year will be even worse- hooray for the dreaded junior year! Ugh.

I just love thinking at night. Which sounds a little silly, but. Laying awake at night is my thinking time :)

I can say, without a doubt, that I have not the first clue about this phenomenon. Please disregard the fact that I am currently writing at a little before 4 a.m. That may explain why I am often also slightly tired. I lose so much sleep that it is frustrating...

OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH!! That WOULD explain why i'm here at 3:04 AM on this website and on youtube (can't go to facebook beacuse everyone is asleep). Hopefully it'll go away when I have 8 am class everyday next semester lol.

It's because it's a big, happy Juvenation family - and family has no right or wrong time of day to visist :D
