Turning the Big 26

Hello everyone!

I will be turning 26 this year and losing my insurance. I’ll be going to college later in the year and their health insurance is very extremely minimal and only covers the basics. My insulin already costs me around $100 whenever I go to pick it up with my current insurance , so this whole thing is making me extremely anxious.

Are there any insurance plans that have decent insulin coverage? And does anyone know about Medicaid with insulin coverage?

I have Medicaid in my area, and my insulin is fully covered - I don’t know if that varies from state to state though.
There is a website/app called Goodrx that provides of of pocket costs for pharmacies in and around your zip code - costs can vary significantly between pharmacies.
