Hey ladies,
My husband and I have been TTC on and off for the last 6 months (I say on an off because we only really started charting my ovulation avidly in March) with no results.
I'm a very anxious person and I drink about one diet coke a day (12 ounces at most). We've had my hormonal levels checked and they were all normal (and no, we've not had my husband's sperm count checked, but he almost had a child with his ex wife (she had an abortion :() so we're pretty sure low sperm isn't the problem). My A1c was at 7.4 at my last endo check up last month and we're in the process of getting me a CGM (I've been on a pump since 2002), and when I went to my preconception visit in November, I was told that she'd seen diabetics with A1c's of 14 and above that had healthy babies and pregnancies.
Everyone keeps telling me I just need to relax and let it happen, granted most of these people don't realize, as a diabetic, we HAVE to plan these things, I just don't understand why it's not happened yet, I've been doing research online and found somewhere that it said that stress doesn't have that big of an effect on it, but that's the only thing I can come up with as to why.
What do you all think?
