When I was really little, 3 or 4 years I think, my parents had taken me and my sisters to McDonalds. My blood sugar ended up going really low, and I started screaming and crying, so my dad took me out to the car to take care of it where no one was staring. When we got back in an older gentleman complimented my dad on how he handled that, and said most parents just let their kids get away with everything. He thought I was having a temper tantrum and my dad took me outside to punish me. awkward! My dad didn't have the heart to tell him that I was diabetic and having an insulin reaction, so he just took the compliment and let me go back to playing.
