I have the word "Cure" tattooed on my back. It stands for type 1 diabetes, of course. My friend is going to get "Diabetic" tattooed on his wrist pretty soon, as well.
I was wondering if anyone else had any tattoos related to diabetes?
We looked into having my son tatooed with a medic alert/T1 however he is not old enough. In the state of TN you have to be 18. He hates to wear his medic alert jewelry, but he will have to for a few more years!
I have considered getting the awareness ribbon or awareness butterfly tattooed over my heart or on my wrist. I want to add my boys' zodiac signs to the tat on my back first, though. ;)
I do! I do! I do! LOL I got mine about 1 year after joining Club 1. It's my avatar, have other pics on my page, send friend request if want to see. I put mine on inside right forearm, where they look to put in IV's. It was my first real tattoo, the dot we did in high school didn't count. I also just got one for my granddaughter's birth.
