We just had the H1N1 swine flu "visit" our household and it was no fun for about a week. Both our daughters whoa re in their teens had a terrible time with it, and we, as parents, were lucky enough to dodge most of the major symptoms. Hillary is right about the importance of Tamiflu. We certainly noticed a biog difference with it. The key is to get it in your system early.
I posted about our experiences with it on my blog here: http://parentsguidetodiabetes.blogspot.com/2009/11/stricken-with-swine-flu.html
I hope everyone stays healthy- and if you do get it don't forget to drink plenty of liquids!
Oh, Im sorry your daughters were sick, yes the sooner you get Tamiflu in your system the better, thats why its important to get tested the minute you start to feel sick.
I hope everyone find this helpful!
peace
