I smile when I see you say that “half my friends can not relate”. That means that half CAN relate!!!.
During my almost 60 years living with diabetes I’ve found very few people understand diabetes or who relate to me. It has been only in the last few years that my wife [married 50 years this year[ has really understood some of the intarsias involved in my everyday diabetes management.
I would be happy to share with you some of concerns and frustrations about how we live with this challenge.
