SO, after her (20 year old daughter Kates) low the other day, I called the next morning and the endo got us in yesterday to his nurse educator and his nutritionist. Much more info thankfully. However we were both still nervous so I started the Lantus lower at 3 units versus 6. And let her eat :( She was high all night. i quess I will call and have to give her the humalog now when she gets up. Ugh.....I so wish that low didnt happen the FIRST day bc it made us both very nervous now. I am obviously being to reserved now. Trying not to pull my hair out.......
