I'm thinking of getting a remote for my Minimed Paradigm so that I won't have to fumble for my pump when I'm wearing it under my clothing. Anyone have experience with a remote device?
It's an amazing piece of equipment. I can't imagine using the Medtronic pump without it. Go for it!
Thanks for your input. Next month I can upgrade my pump, so I'll probably order it at the same time.
Decided against the remote. I just learned from a Minimed rep that I can't enter carbs from the remote, so I'd still need to access my pump. I was hoping I could do more than just bolus. Without the wizard, I'd have to backstep to figuring out my sensitivity, carbs, etc. Maybe a future generation of the remote will do more!
