my daughter received her pump on the 6th and I cant seem to get the class scheduled to start using it. has anyone had this issue? how long did you have to wait for the class? I have been told 3 different times that someone from Animas would be calling me within 2 days to set up the appointment and no call back I am getting really frustrated and thinking about sending this pump back and switching companies. BTW she is 4 and very impatient about using her pump lol she wants to be dome with the shots.
I’m sorry, I haven’t had this issue, but I do know that there is a pretty hard and fast 30-day return policy. If you are dead-set on Animas, I’d start throwing the “I’m going to return this pump” line to the people at Animas you talk to.
Medtronic, Omnipod and Tandem are all available to get your daughter started on the pump she wants if Animas can’t handle it.
Don’t let the 6th of November pass without calling to return the pump.
