Omnipod?

I have been off the pump for 2 1/2 years, but i had the deltec cozmo for about 5years before that. From what i hear they don't even make this pump anymore.

 I've been thinking about going back on the pump because my A1C has gotten a little out of control.

 Someone suggested the omnipod.

 I like this because it doesn't have the tubing. But the cartrige thing looks alittle big.

  I'd like to know what people who have the omnipod think about it. Pros? Cons?

hi, if you go on the omnipod website they will send you a demo pod for free so you can wear it for 3 days and see how it feels and how the size works for you. Other than that, I don't know much about it because I chose animas over omnipod, basically because the pod thing is too big for me. Good luck in your search! =)

OmniPod is great if you are very active. However, it can also be horrible if you like to be active. As you know, the pod is quite bulky, and the adhesive is the same as regular infusion sets. Also, I don't like how you can never disconnect. I do not like how you will have to have that bulky pod connected to you ALL THE TIME. One last thing is that I don't think getting in hot water would be a good idea with the pod because of the insulin inside.
