My mother passed away a week ago last monday 7-25-11 from stage four colon cancer "this is why i haven't been here recently". She is in a better place now away from the pain and misery of cancer. I am fine, not a tear yet, in fact i am jealous of her. She was 85 years old and had a very difficult life, that is all i am going to say. I can now concentrate on taking care of myself instead of her. I have had 7 insulin reactions since the day she died, "STRESS CAUSED". I see my endo tomorrow and will be starting Glargean or Lantis instead of my damn minimed paradign insulin pump, i am tired of that stupid thing. Onward and upward. Hey Jon... I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. You are right though, she is in a better place for her.. There is no more suffering or pain and she will be watching over you and your brother to make sure you are ok.
