My diabetes snapshots

Check out my diabetes snapshots for The Diabetes Blog Week Challenge...

If you want to see my week long blogging journey click here, but proceed with caution LOL just kiddin' :)

I posted the details about diabetes blog week in a previous post it's not too late to start contributing...

Heyy Gina,

Those were some cool diabetes snapshots. Although it does look like it hurts a little. Lol. My mom was kind of freaking out when she saw the one of you attaching your cgm.

That drawer looks a lot like mine.  I actually have 3 different places in the house I put supplies - drawer in the entertainment center for the big boxes, a little drawer in the kitchen for small stuff (CGM cases, pump clip, loose cartridge and infusion sets, wipes, etc.), and a shelf in one cabinet for alcohol swab boxes, lancets, and glucose tabs.  I should probably consider condensing.  :)

Thanks Brittany! It only hurts a little when you first put it in...Why did she freak out when I attached my cgm? She should have freaked when she saw the needle thats what my mom did when she first saw it LOL

Gina...

1. I can't believe how well organized your supplies are! Mine are in a pile in a closet and some still in the bag from the pharmacy!

2. I like your nail polish color.

3. Do you have the minimed CGM. The dexcom isn't supposed to be within 3 inches of an injection or insertion site. That's cool you can keep them so close and save room on your tummy. (:

haha. i have a big plastic rolly cart with all my supplies. it has 3 drawers. the top drawer is where i keep my open boxes of stuff (lancets, insulin, infusion sets/cartridges). the second drawer is where i keep the stuff i use occasionally but not all the time, like extra batteries, syringes, and carrying cases. the third drawer is where i shove everything else i know i won't ever need but can't throw away (old supplies for pumps i don't have, needles for pens, etc.). then i usually use the top of it as a storage area for extra boxes of supplies. i get 2 boxes every month and can only keep 1 box in the drawer.

i like organization :o)

Lol. My mom freaks when I insert my infusion site. She always says it sounds like it hurts.

I have one of those except mine is like 5 drawers. lol. Mine has test strips in the first one, infusion sets in the second one, cartridges in the third, lancets and alchol swabs, and the fifth one has needles and syringes.

I would love one of those for Riley's stuff but I am afraid the boys would get into it. We use those for their toys lol
