Thanks you all so much, but I will never be doing this again, or at leas from how I feel now I never will be.

I ate pizza last night, a whole one, and I took too much insulin. I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom (which I rarely do) and I  could barely stand I was at the sink and I just remember falling. I only know what happened next because my husband told me. My husband said I was screaming and banging on the wall, and that my sugar was 30. I was convinced it was high so I asked for water, so he tricked me by giving me sugar water. He rocks for that. Anyway bad experience. I feel horrible. My head is all cloudy and my stomach is killing me from all the sugar water and orange juice, not to mention the acid from the tomatoes in the pizza. Yuck. I feel sick.

That's what I get for bragging. Now if you'll excuse me I am still recovering :)

I hope you feel better soon ,so sorry you went through all that.

once i went out to dinner with two of my best friends and we ordered ice cream sundaes and cheese fries. it was amazing. but i felt soo sick afterwards!

directions please...

Pat I am sure you can find one on the East coast. I know there used to be one in the Palisades Park mall, but I do believe that one closed. There are two others in NJ and one in New York. You can check their website. Apparenlty there is one right by where I shop, but since I don't eat meat I tend to forget it is there. So Pat you can make a roadtrip to Morris County, NJ.

no it just really disgusting tasting. trust me. it makes me feel sick.

Oh, okay. Yeah, I don't like it either. I don't like grapefruits.

i love the smell of grapefruit and i like grapefruits(at least, the ones in quebec)

Going back to the Fat Burger thing:  if you want a good laugh, go to youtube.com and search "fat burger".  There is a music video on there that is just hilarious - or at least I thought so!  Enjoy!

In all seriousness with Grapefruit I had to grow older to like it. I think it has something to do with as we age our tastebuds numb out or something like that.

I very much agree with Brian on this. a juvenile palet is much different than a mature one (usually).  When I was a kid there was a plethora of (adult taste) foods that made my gag, i.e. Mushrooms, garlic, broccoli, liverworst, red pepper, water chesnuts, avacado, spinich, calmari etc. Today I couldn't imagine life without these foods.  Well the water chesnuts I could live without, though there are two that I continue to despise into adulthood.  Stinky, stinky, foul tasting  Brussels sprouts AND Grapefruit juice. It taste as ackrid and nasty now as it did back then.  If you as a child ever touched a 9 volt battery to your tongue and felt the shock and bitter acidy taste of the experience, that is how grapefuit juice tastes to me, liquid 9 volt battery.

Lol, I don't eat grapefruit often, but I do enjoy when I remember that I do in fact like it. As for Brussel Sprouts, if you cover them with enough spicy yellow mustard all is good in the world. I have never had fried squid nor do I ever plan on eating it. But again it is weird how our tastes change as we age.

Wow, nothing is actually coming to mind.  Probably fried dough or creme brulee or something.  Or bad chinese food >_<  The picture of the burger is so disturbing, though.  Eww.

I just find them really bitter. My sister has always loved them, but I never have.

I am not a picky person at all; there are very few things I don't like. The main ones are grapefruit, bell peppers, sweet pickles, and licorice. I will eat basically anything else. Those things just are disgusting to me. I've tried to develop a taste for bell peppers, but just can't do it. I love mushrooms, garlic, broccoli, water chesnuts, avacado, spinach, and even calamari. I don't have a taste for really sweet things, hence the sweet pickles and licorice, but besides that, I'm very open to foods.
