Looking to better understand T1D in teens

My name is Crystal, and I am currently a Masters Student from Stanbridge University in the Occupational Therapy program. I am teamed up with a few other students in a research thesis group. Our goal is to gain a better understanding of what living with T1D is like as an adolescent. It is in our interest to broaden the scope of occupational therapy in the community of Type 1 diabetes. With that said, we are reaching out to you today in hopes of acquiring participants for our study “A Needs Assessment for Adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes”, in order to identify social media use and preferences for diabetes education. This survey has been approved by the IRB (ethics board) of Stanbridge University. I was wondering if you would be able to share this blurb and encourage those ages 12-17 living with Type 1 diabetes to complete our short survey. Below is the link to the survey and my contact information.

We would be most grateful for your help.

Thank you,

Crystal

Please email crystal.cartier@my.stanbridge.edu if you have any questions. The survey will be closed on 12/01/2018.

This sounds great. I would love to have more contact with occupational therapists. I will fill out the survey for sure.
