I’m 14 and don’t live in your area, but I just wanted to let you know that if you guys ever need anything, feel free to talk to me. I would be happy to help him out and give him some dia-buddy advice for dealing with his diabetes because I’ve been there and I know how hard it can get especially at his age.

I’m not from Virginia, but I have attended a juvenile diabetes camp in my home state for 11 years going to be my 12th this year. I have made amazing friendships with so many people over the years and we all talk very frequently even though we all attend different colleges and love far apart. I believe there are a few camps in Virginia for kids with diabetes. It can be a little nerve wracking for first year campers and parents but it is the best decision my parents and I have ever made. If it’s something you might Ben interested in, you could look into it or ask me any questions. Hope he can make some awesome diabuddies!
