Does having poor control of your diabetes in the past have any affect on being able to get pregnant now?
I don't know about that. I was in HORRIBLE control as a teenager and young 20 year old. I have only had better control in the last 8 years. I got pregnant the 2nd month after trying. I did have a miscarriage but my high risk doctor said it had nothing to do with my diabetes. I have heard that women who are T1D and get on the pump and CGM they get pregnant fairly quickly. I just got on one last month and now we are going to try again. Good luck. I also got a great T1 diabetes and pregnancy book.
