I live in Nevada since 2017 and I am having problems getting my granddaughters pump supplies and CGM supplies. She has Anthem Blue Cross as her primary and Nevada Medicaid as her secondary. I cannot find a distributor that will take both insurance. Does anybody else have this problem? I don’t know what to do. She needs her supplies or she has to go back to the insulin pin.
The only thing I can suggest at this time is to call what ever brand she is using Ie" Medtronics, or Dexcom and ask them what Ins. they take. Medicare covers the Dexcom CGM so if that is her unit it should be covered., because if Medicare covers it, every one else tries to follow suit Try calling the Brand company and sometimes they are great getting things thru.
