Hello All,
I've been type 1 for almost 10 years, and I was just diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease yesterday by my endo. Apparently my over-zealous immune system has once again attacked an endocrine organ, this time being my thyroid.
Its not a huge deal (compared to diabetes), but I now have to take a daily pill to replace the hormone destroyed by my immune system.
Apparently, its somewhat common in type 1s. Anyone else dealing with this?
