Friend's just dont get what we have to deal with

See that is what a good friend is I have a friend that her Grandma is a diabetic and i think i am going to get her on this website because she kown somewhat what i go thought everyday

LOL my bad C I'll edit that real quick :P :P That's always been something that confused me

haha. now you know :o)

i think i will do that

Jaimie, I think that's a great idea :)

And C, yes, now I do know :) LOL another thing that confused me as a kid was the spelling of 'again.' Ha ha I got it now but I used to think (when I was like 6-ish) it was 'agan'

as long as we're talking about spelling and grammar (then i will stop threadjacking)

"all right" is two words. "alright" is not a word. :D:D

Where did I say "alright"? My bad :D

i was just making a generalized statement. not to you personally. :o)

mine dont understand it either. they dont get ehy i need to give myself insulin even though ive explained it a million and one times to them.

even though i have a pump, i still try to stay on a schedule.

7:00 do BS, eat and bolus

8:20 - 12:44 (check if i feel low anytime throughout the morning, most of the time im high)

12:44 do BS, eat lunch and bolus (i hate eating lunch at 1pm)

afternoon (check if i feel low)

5:45 - 6:00-ish do BS, eat and bolus, sometimes i eat at a later time

9:15 do BS, get snack, and bolus

i have such an exciting schedule! lol

i seriously need to get back on a schedule!  when i work i'm awake at 5am but i only work 3 days a week which means the other 4 are totally different.  grrr

good for you you have someone who you look up to. thats the most important thing in life. I understand what you mean but in a different way because i dont have diabetes. My best friend has it though and I have had kids in my class make fun of it and me because I was always praying for people with diabetes. they thought i was only doing it because of Nick Jonas and for a  month i do admit that was the reason but i realized my best friend has it and some other people i care about have it and so many people around the world have it and i started doing it for those people all around the world. You are right anyone who has not been diagnosed with it doesnt understand what you are going through and though diabetics can sort of relate to eachother each person has a different story just like every snowflake is different. What matters isnt that you have friends who understand what your going through its that they support you and stay by your side because they will never know what you are going through but if they are sympathetic and stay by your side then you don't need them to understand exactly what your going through
