For those of you who don't frequent the blog section and may not receive JDRF advocacy emails, please take a look at the blog below. JDRF Advocacy is doing a Call To Action today to help raise awareness in Congress about doing a multi-year renewal of the Special Diabetes Program. Make sure you call your representatives to see where they stand on the issue, tell your personal story, and remind them that current funding for complications can't be used for something else unless there are NO complications. We need a cure, and SDP will help us get that much closer.
