Has anyone heard about Dexcom and Apple working together?
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that if they were, they’d probably make an announcement about it, because they’re both leaders in their respective industries, and making a partnership would boost their stock prices. While they play nicely, I don’t believe they’re partnered up to make cgm devices. Too bad though.
Probably. Apple is compatible right now with Dexcom. My son uses his iPhone and watch as a CGM display as opposed to Dexcom’s. Apple is compatible with other medical devises. I just read about a heart monitor tool where you can take an FDA approved EKG using the iPhone and then email it you your doctor for a reading, although the app will also tell you if there is an irregularity.
