On Halloween one year my sister and I went to my Great Grandma's to trick-or-treat, and she gave me candy, becasue I don't have diabetes, and my sister an apple, since she's diabetic! We explained that she can eat the same things I do, and she got some candy:) It's happened on a few occasions.
